O Come, Emmanuel - Christmas Version - ThePianoGuys

I love this song.  My favorite time of year is Christmas.  I love the music, the Spirit, decorations, food, etc., in short....EVERYTHING!  I'm so blessed to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I'm thankful for a loving Heavenly Father and for my Savior, Jesus Christ.  I pray that we will all take the time to reflect on the things that our Savior has done, to enable us to return to our Heavenly Father one day.  May we try to be more like him.  God bless....

Where have all the flowers gone?

This is one of my favorite hikes...I absolutely LOVE the blanket of wildflowers that cover these hills.  I'm sorry to say that it looks like we were about two weeks early for them.  Oh well, I guess that we'll have to do this hike again in a couple of weeks!  It's still beautiful in my opinion!

Make the Most of What You Get! SNOW!!!

OK....I must say that I really don't mind this snow, it melts so quickly and it makes everything SO beautiful!  For instance, take a look at the beautiful pictures that I took today.

The only problem is that I can't do the hikes that I've scheduled for this spring!  Here is a picture that I took from the trailhead of todays planned hike.

And my husband isn't a short man...6'7" to be exact!

One other problem with the continual snow, is that I can't get my garden planted!  Here's a picture of my garden as of yesterday.  This morning when I woke up, there was a beautiful white blanket of snow, covering everything!  

If only I could do my hikes and plant my garden, I really wouldn't mind this snow at all!  I guess that we should make the most of this wet stuff, because all too soon, we will have the scorching heat!  Let's all relax and look for the beauty of this time of year!

Meet the Grandkids

It's amazing how much JOY is bundled into these small packages!  They sure know how to make their grammy happy!  They love it when we all get together, it's a sure recipe for a lot of craziness, silliness, love and laughter!
