My daughter came over today and we made some Valentines together. I haven't tackled something like this for quite a while, so it was fun to get the creative juices flowing again.

I saved a couple of tins from Christmas candy and cookies, figuring that I could put them to good use. In this tin, I plan to put movie tickets, Jamba Juice gift cards, Date Night items, etc.

This is the tin that I used

                                                                                       I used my foam stamps to paint both the i and adore.

The heart is raised with adhesive foam squares.

I used "glossy accents" on my heart to give it some dimension and shine.

The braided silver strips are stickers. I also used Color Box fluid chalk to distress the paper.

Use the lid as your guide.

Then I very carefully trim it down so that it doesn't overlap the lid.

When gluing to tin, don't put paper under the lid,

I only have a couple hints for you

if you should decide to make one.

~Use glue dots to adhere the paper to the tin.

~Don't put any paper under the lid.
